The state of Massachusetts does not fully recognize us (Four Wheelers) as a user group within the state. M.A.R.T.A.B which stands for the Massachusetts Recreational Trails Advisory Board needs to be more active in working with the DCR (Deptartment of Conservation and Recreation) to make us as an user group.

Many clubs have done land cleanups and removed trash and junk cars from the woods. We would like to adopt the old roads in which we drive to keep them clean and passable by 4WD vehicles and for rescue vehicles. TV ads depicting vehicles driving in a muddy field is not what we do, or how we want to be portrayed. Clubs do good things like canned food drives and giving to local charities. We also contribute to the local economy.

I ask the public and the State to keep an open mind when it comes to our sport.
